On 15th April Khan took part in the BCPS Stallion Parade at Addington arena, He really enjoyed it and looked magnificent - as a result his numbers of visiting mares increased so at the moment he is “ working “ really hard !
Ellie however was more secretive she foaled in the early hours of the 30th April so when we went out the next morning there was a stunning dun colt foal “ Freddy “ , all cleaned up and feeding robustly !
We have two more foals expected one at the end of June and the other in the middle of July so it is very busy here at the moment with foaling and visiting mares. We are also being contacted by people whose mares were successfully AI’d last year with news of their foals by Khan, it is so nice to hear from them, the latest is a beautiful partbred colt called “Teddy”
On the 1st of June Amber went to her new home in Yorkshire and we have heard that she has settled in very well. The weather is glorious here at the moment and all our youngstock are enjoying themselves in the fields.
What a stunner !!!
Later that evening Rosie had a beautiful black colt foal “ Micky “ it was as though she was waiting for “ dad “ to return !
JUNE 12th
We went out to check the ponies this afternoon and surprise surprise Holly ( one of our welsh rescue ponies ) had had her foal, a lovely little dun !!
