Happy New Year to all past and future visitors, and customers, of THE EDENWOOD STUD.
I start this newsletter with lots of success stories regarding Jack, Milly, Connor, Oliver, and the Welsh foals, so we have made it our photo gallery to start the new year !!

OLIVER, my Irish Draught x TB has gone on loan to Cath in Oxfordshire. He has settled in and is giving her lots of pleasure - watch this space.
The Welsh foals; Dolly, Taffy and Honey along with Taffy’s mum Saffy, have now gone to their new home with Sarah near Birmingham. They arrived safely and are settling in very well and we will be keeping in touch with their progress.
Here at the stud ROCKY continues to make good progress after his operation for tendon contracture last September, and KHAN is enjoying his “ free time ” in the fields !
My broodmares ROSIE, ELLIE, MADDIE and LARA are all “ blooming “. They are all in foal to KHAN so it is going to be the most exciting year yet for THE EDENWOOD STUD. ELLIE and ROSIE are due to foal first, in April, so I am now feeding them twice daily.
My foals AMBER, CONNIE and HARRY are now weaned and looking very well. The weather has been quite mild so most of the time all my connemaras have stayed living out, however the foals come in if it turns nasty.

CASSIE and ROSA ( my 2 year old fillies ) will soon be going to their new home with Pauline McLaren at the Crossowen Stud in Ireland and I will be returning with two very exciting prospects that Pauline has bred ; ANGEL, a two year old connemara cross filly, and her full brother who has just been weaned, both are by one of my favourite stallions C V CASHEL ( who is also COSMIC’S sire ).
I will soon be bringing KHAN back into work as he will be attending the Connemara Stallion Parade at the Addington Manor Equestrian Centre on 15th April.
Also I will be bringing STAR back into work as I will be offering her for sale this year as well as COSMIC, my three year old gelding. Cosmic is very special as he is the first foal that I bred and is turning into a first class connemara with a super temperament and excellent paces.
